cREMEN research gROUP (crg)
WELCOME TO crg
The CRG at UCL conducts research at the intersection of civil engineering and other related disciplines, with the overarching aim of improving societal decision making on issues related to urban infrastructure risk and resilience. We create innovative engineering-based risk and resilience characterisation and assessment tools to aid equitable long-term and short-term disaster planning in single and multi-hazard contexts.
The group is led by Dr. Gemma Cremen, Lecturer of Risk and Resilience Engineering in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering at UCL. Gemma has a PhD in Earthquake Engineering from Stanford University and has postdoctoral experience in risk and resilience modelling from both the University of Bristol and UCL.
